The National Park Entry Permit is issued by the Forest Department at the park gate. It is separate from the Mizoram ILP and is required to enter Phawngpui (Blue Mountain) National Park.
Indian tourists first obtain a Mizoram ILP, then complete park entry at the Forest Department / park gate. The park permit cannot be valid for more than 5 days.

Yes. Indian visitors from outside Mizoram need a Mizoram ILP before travelling to Phawngpui.

Create an account with your mobile number and email.
Choose the tourist / Temporary ILP category (generally up to 15 days).
Fill in Lawngtlai / Phawngpui dates and entry point.
Upload photo ID and pay the fee shown on the portal.
Carry the ILP, then obtain the National Park permit at the park gate.
Phawngpui National Park is in Lawngtlai district, Mizoram. It includes Phawngpui, the highest peak in Mizoram, also known as Blue Mountain. The park is often called Blue Mountain National Park.
The park protects hill forests, orchids and high-ridge views. Stay on marked trails and do not collect plants or disturb wildlife.
Most visitors fly into Lengpui Airport, complete ILP formalities, travel via Aizawl towards Lawngtlai district, then continue to the park. Road conditions in southern Mizoram can be slow — allow extra time.
The drier months are generally better for ridge views and walking. Confirm Forest Department opening and weather before you travel.
Shillong is the nearest Wizzride route to Mizoram.

Published rates include ₹5 per day for Indian citizens, ₹10 on the first day plus ₹5 each subsequent day for foreign visitors, half rate for students, no fee for children below 5 years, and ₹10–₹20 additional for vehicles. Fees may change — verify with the Forest Department.
